Help in the Corona Crisis

Self-isolation and a lack of social contacts during the Corona crisis are causing problems for many people. If you have worries or needs, you can find information and contact details here.

The Centre for Psychotherapy at the Goethe University Frankfurt has set up a Corona crisis hotline operated by therapists. There are special consultation hours for parents, children and teenagers.

The Independent Patient Counseling Germany offers free telephone advice - in several languages, including German, Turkish and Russian.

The telephone counseling service is available free of charge at 0800 - 111 0 111, 0800 - 111 0 222 and 0800 - 116 123. It also offers pastoral telephone services in several languages.

The "Deutsche Depressionshilfe" (German Depression Aid) supports people suffering from depression in domestic quarantine. Affected people can register informally for the program here via e-mail and will be activated within 24 hours.

The Psychosozialer Verbund Rhein-Main offers psychosocial counselling for refugees on the phone in various languages. There will be consultation hours in German/ deutsch, Arabic/ العربيةFarsi/ فارسیEnglishFrench/ francaisSpanish/ español.

The Muslim helpline can be reached at 030 - 443 509 821. It offers anonymous counseling around the clock.

The Professional Association of German Psychologists offers a corona hotline. During the coming weeks, it can be reached daily from 8 am to 8 pm and is free of charge and anonymous for callers: 0800-777 22 44.

In addition, the Federal Centre for Health Education provides information on the topic of "Mental Health in the Corona Time".
